For veterinary clinics · Program outline

The full program, in one document.

The program outline details the training duration, group size and assessment criteria — everything you need to decide whether the program fits your clinic.

What is in the outline

A complete procedure — from first enquiry to written plan.

This is the procedure we work to in our own studio. The same one, not a version written for a course.

1. How a case is identified

What makes a dog a special care case, and how to tell at the desk — before the dog is booked.

2. How the consultation is booked

How it is booked, and what we ask before the dog comes in, so the visit is decided before it starts.

3. The plan, and the report after each visit

The grooming plan template your groomer works to, and the report the owner receives after each visit.

4. The groom itself

Your groomer already knows how to cut and finish a dog. What changes is that the groom is worked to the plan — coat, length and finish adapted to the condition and to what the session allows.

5. The handling

Lifting, positioning, pressure, breaks — and the stop points that end a session.

6. The line back to the vet

Where the groom ends, and who to contact at our end.

After the program, your team can take special care cases on — assessed first, planned in writing, worked to a procedure, with the escalation point agreed before the first dog.

Tell us a little about your clinic and we will send the program outline.

Send your request and we will come back with the outline.
