For veterinary clinics · Train your own groomers
The skill stays inside your clinic.
We come into your clinic and train the groomers you already employ, so they can work safely with senior dogs, dogs recovering from surgery, and dogs with ongoing health conditions. Training ends with a final assessment and written feedback for each groomer.
What training covers
Built on your cases.
- Handling and support positioning.
- Recognising pain and stress.
- What to gather before a booking.
- Documenting the grooming plan.
- The groomer's responsibilities, and when to stop and seek veterinary advice.
Where it runs
In your clinic.
Training takes place in your clinic, with your existing grooming team, working with suitable dogs already known to your clinic. The program outline details the training duration, group size and assessment criteria.
After the program
What your team finishes with.
Your team finishes with a written standard operating procedure (SOP) for every category, and one named contact at our end for questions after training.
